club100 - day fourteen

No word count today, because instead of writing I spent some time changing my original fic - well, the first scene - from 1st to 3rd person. I think I'm thinking about it too much again... I feel like I'm painting a picture instead of taking a photo, if that makes any sense. I'm wondering if I felt too locked into my main character's POV, and in 3rd person I have more freedom, so... I'll give it a go.

I feel your pain. I once struggled for 3 months to finish a story, finally finished it, sent it off to be beta'd, got it back and sat a stared at it for two more weeks. Finally, I accepted what I had been fearing, banged my head on my desk repeatedly and then changed the darned thing from 3rd person to 1st. Liberal applications of chocolate helped. Should I send some?
