So I declared to my parents Saturday morning that the reason the episode ended with Adama shaving is because he was on his way to Colonial One to lay a big wet one on Roslin, and he didn't want to get her all scratched up with the 'stache.

I was quite relieved to see that BSG was back on its game this week, considering the relatively blehness of the first three episodes of the season. I'm still not quite sure why Baltar let D'Anna walk off with Hera... not that I really expected him to do the right thing, but c'mon... bargaining chip, anyone? The reunions were very cute, and I got a little choked up when Tigh told Adama about Ellen. Poor dumb Ellen.

And poor Kara. This season has not been kind to her, in several ways. I didn't like the whole Casey storyline, because... I don't know. She was just so much less kick-ass. Or maybe it's not Casey's fault. Maybe it was the Rapunzel hair. Anyway, even though she looks about two seconds away from a nervous breakdown, I have hopes for Kara from here on out. Hopefully she will get her kick-assed-ness back.

I think we all knew that Mya wasn't going to make it. And that Fat Little Puppy Apollo was going to come riding to Papa's rescue. Although I didn't expect them to blow up Pegasus. Not exactly sad about it, though, because them all being stuck on the same ship again will make their emotional and relationship dysfunction so much more... dysfunctional.

And dysfunction is fun, when it's somebody else's.

Now, someone tell me when I can download Return II, and I will be a happy camper.

Well, I would assume you have to wait at least until it's been broadcast ... ;P

BTW: you made a Little Mermaid theme for your LJ? Pourquoi?

But WHEN is it going to be broadcast in Canuckistan? I assume they're still getting it first.

And because little mermaid kicks ass! WOO!

Well, Return 2--did you mean Exodus 2? That's the one where they make it back to the ships. It played in America last Friday the 20th. Why would you assume Canadia gets it first? Sci-Fi series always start out on US tv first, then take a hiatus during which time Canada catches up and passes us, so they get the episodes first in the second half of the season. Since the US is a much bigger market, I would assume changes to that schedule would be to our benefit.

That's if you can apply logic to the entertainment industry.

Nope, I meant Return :) Movie Central was first saying that they were airing it tomorrow... apparently the site is now saying Nov 20th.

That's exactly what happened... the US is on hiatus now, until MARCH because SciFi is run by morons. Return 2 marks the beginning of the second half of the season.

Wait a minute--I think we're getting our wires crossed. You'd been talking about BSG, not Atlantis, so I was referring to BSG and thought you meant Exodus 2, and just had the name of the episode wrong. I'd forgotten the name of the Atlantis cliffhanger. Now we're both on the same page.

Hang on, I thought the 4 episodes that have just aired in the US were the third season opener? Not half way through? And the US have stopped showing after only 4 episodes???

::falls out of her chair, laughing::

I have to admit, DH and I were watching. When Galactica, ah, dropped in the way it did, we looked at each other as it "warped" out and went, "That was f*cking cool!" We are such geeks. Nevermind the fact that we were staying up late on Friday to watch the reruns because we were out to dinner during the first runs and couldn't wait until we got home to watch the TiVO versions....

All I can say is thank God for satellite television in rural areas where cable isn't available.
