I'm in the school computer labs, on a Mac also known as the computer of evilness. And I'm pretty sure that this computer has AIM somewhere on it but because Macs are so useless and impossible to navigate I don't know how to find it.
I'm here so early because a girl from school, Jennifer, and I had a meeting with one of the admin folks to find out if we could do our student teaching in our hometowns next semester (we both live in about the same area; for those who know the area, I'm in Oakley and she's in Brentwood, and school is in Stockton). There is supposedly this rule that they want you to do student teaching in the Stockton/Lodi area, for the sake of convenience, but that there's this 30-35 mile range of the school that you have to be under. And we're under that. So we go to see her and point this out and she's like, well, it depends on how many people we have student teaching, and where the supervisors are who are going to be observing you, blah blah blah. And I'm like... why is it that you can never get a straight answer out of people???
