Oh dear, you've hit on one of my favorite poets! I spent a year in a Latin class just translating Horace and Catullus, and boy did we ever fall in love with Horace!
tecum vivere amem, tecum obeam libens (with you I would love to live, with you I would happily die)[how romantic!]
Carpe diem, quam minimus credula postero. (seize the day and trust as little as possible in the future)
Exigi monumentum aere perenius (I have built a monument more lasting than broze)[about his poety, and since we're reading it almost 2000 years later, I guess he was right]
