I'll preface this with full disclosure: I don't ship Shep/Teyla (used to be diehard Sparky, actually *grin* but it seems that after a few years in fandom I'm mellowing into a simultaneously gen and multishipping fangirl who'll ship near enough anyone if only out of curiosity to see if it works).
Time Traveller's Wife is one of my favourite books, so when I saw your A/N I squeed like a mad thing.
Okay, now that's out of the way: wow. I love this. I love it more than I have *words* - the prose is direct, straight lines and all over the place, all at once and in the best way. I love that it's from John's POV. The Wraith victory in the end and the scene with the little girl are fantastic. The scenes with him avoiding Elizabeth in that centuries long void are just so right and IC that it hurts, and the image of him floating around this sunken city-
The John/Teyla scenes make sense and the shower scene is downright hot. Going to read part two right now.
