Kushiel et al
Jan. 20th, 2011 07:49 pmI'm trying to decide if I feel adventerous/ambitious enough to reread the original Kushiel trilogy by Jacquline Carey. This is something that requires serious consideration because, well, the books take a lot out of you. Plus I'm always tempted to skim the parts that don't have Joscelin in them to get to the parts that do. What can I say -- I'm a fangirl. But it's been a while since I read it so maybe that will help.
I'm also tempted to start accumulating songs for a Kushiel fanmix. It might be a tricky proposition. If I was going to be really happy with it I don't think I could include any top 40 stuff unless the song was pitch-perfect. I'm envisioning (en-hearing?) a lot of quirky/acoustic/indie-type stuff... which of course I don't listen to on a regular basis. In fact the only time I hear a lot of it is when I'm listening to other peoples' fanmixes :D So, if anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear 'em :)
