There is a huge amount of propaganda and myths circulating about illegal aliens, particularly illegal Mexican, Salvadorian, Guatemalan and Honduran aliens.
Myth #1. ( Illegals just want to have American citizenship )
Myth #2. ( Illegals take the jobs that Americans won't do )
Myth #3. ( We have a responsibility to care for the homeless, even if they come from other nations )
Myth #4. ( The US economy needs illegal labor )
Myth #5. ( This whole argument is hypocritical because the US is a nation of immigrants )
Myth #6. ( The US is anti-immigration anyway )
Myth #7. ( Politicans have to try to get the Hispanic vote )
Myth #8. ( We owe Mexico a hand up, since they're our neighbors )
Myth #9. ( Immigrats are just looking for a better life, and the US can afford to help them )
Myth #10. ( There is a labor shortage in this country )
Myth #11. ( It is racist to want secure borders. )
