Various and sundry

I'm about 1/3 done with my new vid (not saying what it's for/from... (shhh, seldear). It's not great, but I'm reasonably happy with it.

Trying to download last night's DH, although bt is being its usual slow and stupid self. I'll leave my computer on when I leave for work (2-1030 tonight) and hope it's done when I get home.

My parents (and my aunt and uncle and cousin) are going to be in DC from October 2-8. I guess I'll enjoy the time by myself -- it depends on how much I'm actually here, by myself, I suppose. I'll have to wait until this Thursday or Friday to see what my work schedule is going to be that week.

Working on my McKay/Weir ficathon entry, which is due October 19th. It's my first ficathon ever, and I think it's going pretty well so far. I've actually been writing it out in a Batman notebook I got for $.84 at Target last week, which is odd -- the writing out part, I mean. Usually I think so much faster than I can possibly print that typing is a much more comfortable method for me. But this fic seems to want to be treated at a slower pace anyway. There's not much plot to speak of, but I hope the requestee won't mind. Much.
