Me (at Target, seeing totally adorable red bootie PJs with skulls and crossbones on them for the kiddo): These are so cute! I have to have them!
Dad: It's an impulse buy, Meg.
So the other day my father and I were discussing ObamaCare versus the Stimulus Bill and that caused us to get into the needs and wants discussion.
Dad: Why is he focusing on healthcare? Like it's really gonna help the economy! This is a want! Not a need! (My dad is like this. :P)
Me: So Obama's flight to the Olympic Counsel was an impulse buy?
...something like that. *coffee*
