So I'm procrastinating writing (but it's okay, I'm on page 31!) and went over to check out myspace.com, because I know a lot of people who have accounts there and it's been in the news lately.

Wow, I expected a lot more. Really, it's a crappy site/program/whatever. Like JL for dummies. Yech.

I know, isn't myspace awful? I think it's really stupid, but all of my friends use it... they just don't see that LJ is sooo much better! And the layouts looks absolutely stupid.

Yeah -- even the best looking ones are completely ugly. I don't know... maybe it's just that the people over there don't seem to know that you don't put a busy, multicolored background under small, dark text... ;)

myspace is a pain in the a$$. I've tried it a few times and its rather useless tho the teenie-boppers are all over it. Run away!!

MySpace is like LJ for the lazy. You can easily create extremely ugly pages, don't have to post to keep it "current", and you can write quick "OMG HI! LOL" messages without having to comment on an actual entry.
