OHMYGOD, that is too hilarious. And perfectly true. At the beginning of the series, I could see that perhaps something could have been developing
slowly--they certainly were friends back then. But after the writers tried
to force it on us.... nope. They both look too awkward.
Besides, you can't write chemistry between two actors, it's either there or it isn't. Jack and Daniel have it in SPADES. In fact, Daniel has chemistry with everyone
Of course, the shippers are probably looking at the slashers and going--
what are they talking about? There's nothing between Jack and Daniel, are
they crazy?? LOL.

I love seeing the same argument being made on both sides of the ship fence. It amazes me that there are still actually wars about this. Everyone's saying the same thing, just involving different players! Everyone just needs to smootch and leave the other side to their own romantic coupling preferences.

Seriously though, beyond it being a good laugh, I could care less about who pairs who up with who in their fic. It's when they start to think that the fic has any bearing on the show that I start hearing excerpts from Bill Engvall's "Here's Your Sign" (http://mistupid.com/people/page013.htm) ;)
