Her evolution has been amazing to watch over the past 6 years. If you look at the woman she was in season one she is almost nothing like that anymore

she has come so far- and i think that this point is something that alot of fandom is struggling with so far- they are up in arms about but its like- duh- she been hanging out withe this super awesome guy for six years this shit is going to happen.
