I love my family

How many other people have their moms call them to dish about what the vice president is up to?

Ha!!! My main news sources are usually Mom, Alli, and Yahoo. :P So when she calls, it's usually to bitch and complain. :P

Daw! I'll tell her you said so! *hugs* (I swear she'll get all blushy.)

Heehee!

Glad Mom will enjoy.

And I seem to have become royally addicted to Fox News.

To the point where I am slightly annoyed that the boss didn't let us close the office early on the 15th cause I wanted to go to one of the Tea Parties.

Check the tea party website... some of them are running into the evening.

I know... but the 2 closest are in Birmingham and Atlanta... both of which are about 1.5 to 2 hours away.... and if I get out of there at 7, I'd have to swing by the house to pick Mom up, grab food to eat while I drive... head into one of the cities.... and then not get there till about 9. To turn around and come home??

It's a bit too much for too little I'm afraid.

I totally wanted to head into Atlanta for Sean Hannity's party, though.

Yeah, that wouldn't really make sense.

We'll have to settle for watching it on TV.

[identity profile] triciabyrne1978.livejournal.com 2009-04-10 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, and then I won't have to worry about trying to figure out wtf Sean Hannity IS. I can watch him and Glenn and Bill and everyone else...

It'll be interesting :)

I'm going to print out one of the signs they have on their website and put it in my car door. I was thinking about wearing a tea bag somewhere on my person but I thought that might be a little too obscure ;)

Tea bag earrings?

[identity profile] jadestrick.livejournal.com 2009-04-10 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)
LMAO!!! I've gotten my parents addicted to this particular tea I love and adore and they're all shocked because it's ridiculously expensive and then my brain goes toward the tea parties and well, there ya go.

*iz random*

Oh?

What tea is this?

Cause, having given up coffee for Lent.... Tea has become my addiction (though there are some days I've gone with absolutely NO caffeine -- which is just downright scary).

I have several teas still from my last trip to England... but I'm always open for trying out a new one.

[identity profile] jadestrick.livejournal.com 2009-04-10 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
(I wish to GOD I could go without caffeine. I keep thinking about all the problems my dad's dealing with because of his caffeine consumption. *sigh*)

It's this stuff. I'd say it's cheaper online, but with shipping and all... B&N used to sell it, but Whole Foods and World Market are the only two places I can find that sell it now and it's around $11. *headdesk* Stupid addictive stuff.

Edit: Proper English, please. :P
