You do realise it's a very dark series, and would probably qualify as close to a kind of 'wiccan' philosophy?

Yeah, I didn't realize at first, but then I started looking into it. I almost changed my mind, but by then my curiosity was pretty much overwhelming my squeemishness. I can always stop reading it if it gets to be too much. That's what I did with the third Dune book.
