I would have donated money to shut her up. There's a time and a place to express her opinion. A *charity benefit* is not it.

This isn't about the situation being disastrous (pretty sure Alli's smart enough to figure that one out), it's about the (bad) timing and (in)appropriateness of BM's comments.
