I now have a totally awesome layout. Isn't it beauty-ful? I got it from [livejournal.com profile] thefulcrum.

I watched Sense & Sensibility tonight thanks to Netflix's nifty new feature where you can watch movies online. And it's even legal! The picture quality could have been better, but still pretty impressive for streaming. I enjoyed the movie itself quite a lot... the feature-length remake of Pride & Prejudice really can't hold a candle to the mini, and I was afraid maybe the movie format would have the same drawbacks here. But it was pretty dang good, even if I kept laughing at Hugh Grant and Alan Rickman (ack, Snape with sideburns! Now that I think about it, Trelawny too! Heehee). It also probably helps that I haven't read the book. Yet.

2am. I think I'm pretty much insensible right now. Not to mention starving...

I think I've done this before.

I wonder if the market value has gone up?

My blog is worth $6,209.94.
How much is your blog worth?

So what's the cheapest (in the US) that you've seen HP&tDH?

Amazon has it for $17.99 with a $5 credit to spend in August, but I would have to pay for shipping. $17.99 at Target. A few cents less at Walmart, but I avoid anything with 'mart' in the name on principle.

B&N has it for $18.89 for members (which I am one).

Any other options?

(P.S. I have snurched some lovely HP movie icons from [livejournal.com profile] tehdarkside. :-D )

Watching Jane Austen and then reading Dan Simmons (cracktastic scifi author) before bed is not a sane combination. I had dreams last night of being in some kind of Austenesque movie or book, set in Hawaii or some other tropical location, where a group of friends, including Ginamarie, kept trying to set me up with this jerky guy. To the point where they like threw us a fake bridal shower. And he was a weenie and I was upset. Mostly because I really had a crush on this younger guy who worked for a scientist who was doing experiments in animals communication (especially between dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, mice, etc). Only he wasn't a guy, he was an android, and I didn't think my family would approve of me marrying an android.

There were also some surfing and beach parties involved.

GIP!

Heehee.

Buy the t-shirt, because "his announcement could be so earth-shattering that it may instantly strike dead anyone not protected by this t-shirt!"

Well, that would pretty much wrap up the election, at least.
